Now, my good friend Niki Flynn will understand my comparison here as will Stephen (most hated man on the net) Lewis. Which version of the Thomas Harris book was better; Red Dragon or Manhunter? Well for me it has to be Red Dragon. One because Manhunter is too 80's stylie and two because Red Dragon has my idol Anthony Hopkins playing Hannibal Lecter. I am sorry but Brian Cox just did not do it for me. I have this strange fantasy of being dominated by Anthony Hopkins in the role (only the role, I am not into real serial killers you understand!) of Hannibal Lecter. It would be just too sexy....this urbane, calculating, highly intelligent man dominating me. It will of course stay in my fantasies as I am sure Anthony Hopkins could not be less interested in the idea! Which brings me onto my next question (which i am sure has been asked before but what the hell). Which famous person would you most like to be dominated by (fictional characters are allowed!) and why?

Are we allowed to say which famous person (other than you of course!) we'd like to dominate? ;-)
With your recent adventure in mind....
I'm wondering exactly how much interrogation, torment and torture it would take for you to see reason and admit that Brian Cox's Lector is far superior to the Hopkins cartoon caricature.?
Word verification for this post is "greatcox" btw so even blogger agrees with me
It's not sure that she was fictional or not (it could have been Lady Katherine Ferrers) but I would like to be spanked by The Wicked Lady, as played by Margaret Lockwood in the 1945 film. Of coarse she would have to be wearing her Highway (Wo)Man outfit and come complete with pistols, in the fantasy it all happens on black and white.

Fictional characters and scenes from “Le Femme Nikita” (Canadian remake of original French film). Kidnap by Nikita (Peta Wilson), interrogation by both Nikita and Madeline (Alberta Watson). The series focus is dark and edgy, employing false imprisonment, torture and psychological tactics such as the fear or fear. It pushes many buttons for me; the characters are formidable challenges, breaking down the prisoner using ruthless physical pain and psychological manipulations to obtain their objective, the futility of escape but fighting the regime and pain - seriously hot.
yes John you may say whomever you wish to dominate....possible or not, I have afterall gone for Mr Lecter!
Stephen: You know that Cox does not even do it...I would laugh at his attempt at domination!
Well, I'm happy to surrender WITH you to Dr Lecter, as you well know. ;-)
But put Hammer Films-era Christopher Lee and Peter Cushing (as Van Helsing OR Sherlock Holmes) on my list! **swoon**
hmmmm Niki that sounds like a plan....hee hee. And I like your other choice too
