Comedy Moustaches!

Ok folks, here are two lovely ladies, Amelia Jane Rutherford and Niki Flynn being beaten most unjustly in this period drama, "What the Dickens".  BUT who is the evil man punishing the ladies?  And is his moustache real or a comedy stick on one?!  The film is on the Firm Hand website.
