...Ok folks, I have had now many messages about the affair and before the scene rumour machine starts gong here is the truth. I had an accident at the beginning of this week where I trapped the end of my left index finger in a heavy swing shut door. It was damaged and required surgery to be fixed, which has been done so I am recovering AND I AM STILL ABLE TO SUB!!! I have NOT lost any part of my hand and never will as a result of this accident ;-) it was bad but not that bad!! I will be back in full order sooner than you think, but thank you all for your concern. Just in case it is not clear there is NO PERMANENT damage to my hand, please do not worry (though anyone wishing to send champagne etc to console me are more than welcome...lol!!) it will heal. And in the meantime I need my sub sessions for the pain to be felt somewhere else ;-) xxxxx
Again thank those who have send them for their kind messages, they are more appreciated than you know...xx

OWW! that sounds painful (in a bad way). I hope that one of the following is applicable.
1/ The pain subsides quickly.
2/ The doc has given you some very fun medicine for the pain
3/ Both of the above.
Prefectdt

Hi Leia,
Just reading through your blog for the first time and... oh, love, I am so sorry. I'm glad no permanent harm was done, but I can only imagine the pain. I hope that you are recovering well and send good thoughts and warm vibes all the way across the Pond.
You are a lovely lady and a lovely person and I am so excited to be meeting you soon!
Just remember to be kind to yourself and do exactly what the doctor says - no less and certainly no more. Or else, young lady! ;)
Paul - thank you my lovely....having a week off in the hope that will help. xxx
Isaac - thank you for the lovely message!! I will do my best, but being left handed I ma probably using it too much. Luckily I have learned to live without over-using the index finger! xxx
